Apple Sauce Muffins

Soft and moist muffins, naturally sweetened with Jamworks Apple Sauce—perfect for breakfast or a snack!

Ingredients:

      • 1 ½ cups plain flour
      • 1 tsp baking powder
      • ½ tsp baking soda
      • ½ tsp cinnamon
      • ¼ tsp nutmeg
      • ½ tsp salt
      • ½ cup brown sugar (or honey for a refined sugar-free version)
      • ½ cup Jamworks Apple Sauce
      • ⅓ cup vegetable oil (or melted butter)
      • 2 eggs
      • ½ cup milk (or almond milk for dairy-free)
      • 1 tsp vanilla extract

 Instructions:

    1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a muffin tin with 12 liners.

    2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
    3. In another bowl, mix brown sugar, Jamworks Apple Sauce, oil, eggs, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
    4. Gradually fold in the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
    5. Divide batter evenly into muffin cups (about ¾ full).
    6. Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean.
    7. Let cool and enjoy as is, or serve with butter or a drizzle of Jamworks Apple Sauce!
